Brain Trauma Foundation Launches New e-Learning
Portal using
CME Pilot Platform
CME Pilot provides a complete
e-learning and e-commerce solution for delivery of interactive educational activities online.

NEW YORK, January 15, 2007 - CME Pilot (www.cmepilot.com) , a division of Artgig Studio, a full-service interactive agency based in Westchester, NY, partnered with the Manhattan-based Brain Trauma Foundation (www.braintrauma.org), an organization dedicated to improving the care of traumatic brain injury patients, to launch a new e-learning portal in January 2007.

The Brain Trauma Foundation Learning Portal is a custom website using the CME Pilot platform to present news and resources, including interactive learning activities, to users of the site. “The Brain Trauma Foundation Learning Portal supplies interactive learning opportunities to physicians, nurses, and EMS providers who are seeking relevant accredited content in a user-friendly online environment,” says Matthew Kicinski, President of CME Pilot. “As good as the portal looks, it’s the suite of tools behind the scenes in the Administrator Dashboard that really empowers the Brain Trauma Foundation to manage their entire e-learning and e-commerce program efficiently and effectively.”

In addition to customizing tracking and reporting features to monitor usage, tests and surveys, the site administrators at the Brain Trauma Foundation can create marketing email blasts, design special promotions in the integrated e-commerce system, and manage their front page content - all from the online dashboard.

Registered users have access to a personalized member history that maintains a record of their progress and completed activities. “If a user is halfway through an activity and they get called away, it’s no problem - the system will remember where they left off for the next time they log in,” says Steven Grosmark, Chief Engineer and Programmer at CME Pilot. Users can reach the portal Home page directly at www.btflearning.org.

For the portal launch, CME Pilot also re-formatted content for a total of 17 individual Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and ICP Monitoring interactive activity modules that are available for purchase on-demand. Additionally, CME Pilot is re-designing an online educational activity for Prehospital Management of Traumatic Brain Injury.
